Personal Information
I am 9 years old and skating is something I can’t imagine my life without. Very often I feel more comfortable on ice then the ground (Ha, Ha!!!)
I love the filling of gliding on ice and the wind touching my face.
I like the thrill of competitions and I absolutely adore the beautiful dresses my Mommy makes for me.
I take lots of classes that support my skating, like: ballet, stretch class, off ice jump class and choreography.
All those classes make me a better skater and make me understand the complexity of the sport better.
It’s not enough to go out there and skate good with some nice jumps – you have to do all of that plus look beautiful and make it look easy so people who are watching will enjoy the show.
It is a lot of work, and you have to commit yourself to it, but is all worth it when you place in the top 3 - comes competition time.
I attend Abbett Elementary School, which is very supportive of my skating career. I do really good!!! My favorite subject is Math and Science.
I love the sport of skating and would not be able to do it with out the support and sacrifices of my whole family. My parents and my 6 year old brother are my BIGGEST FANS.
Lot’s of time when I stand on the ice waiting for the music to start I hear my little brother shout "GO CAROLINE!!!" It makes me feel very good to be loved and supported like that.
It also makes my stomach jiggles go away, knowing that in their hearts I always score First!
My brother loves to run and my Mom will sign him up this year for track training. I will be his biggest fan – I already know it!!!
Often when I watch other famous skaters on TV - I picture myself there with my whole family in the stands. It’s a wonderful feeling to have so much love with you when you do what you love.
